Many thanks to Tom Moore for arranging our recent outing at Blakemere to photograph birds of prey in flight and close up. Three of us went and although it was overcast it did not rain so got some good images. The birds were flown for an hour and the handler was both informative and willing to get the birds to pose in different situations. (If you go on one of these don't choose the Steppe Eagle as he prefers the tops of the surrounding trees to the posts in the field!).
